On March 20th, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province issued a decision approving the plan for collecting, managing, and using entrance fees for scenic spots in Nha Trang Bay. The fee rates will be applied uniformly to both Vietnamese and foreign visitors.

The expected fares for the routes are as follows: Inland waterway terminal - Hon Mieu Island (Tri Nguyen Island) 6,000 VND/person/trip; inland waterway terminal - Hon Tam Island, inland waterway terminal - Hon Tre Island (Vinpearl), inland waterway terminal - Hon Mot Island 8,000 VND/person/trip; inland waterway terminal - Hon Mun Island 10,000 VND/person/trip; combined fare for all routes 40,000 VND/person/trip.

Additionally, there will be a 50% discount on entrance fees for children aged 6 to 16, eligible individuals under the "cultural enjoyment preferential policy," residents of particularly disadvantaged communes as defined in the Government 's Program 135, people with meritorious service to the revolution and those under social welfare policies, the elderly, and students from schools in Khanh Hoa province who are visiting for educational purposes.

Children under 6 years old, citizens residing in Khanh Hoa, locals and tourists swimming at the mainland beaches, residents living on the islands, people with disabilities, staff working at tourist destinations in Nha Trang Bay, and officials working in Nha Trang Bay are exempt from fees.

The revenue from annual fees is expected to be around 26.4 billion VND, which will be used to cover expenses and ensure the operation and maintenance of the Nha Trang Bay Management Board.

Previously, between 2004 and 2009, the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council issued two resolutions on collecting entrance fees for scenic spots in Nha Trang Bay. However, due to some shortcomings, the Provincial People's Council issued a replacement resolution.

Since 2010, entrance fees in Nha Trang Bay have only been applied to visitors to the Hon Mun Marine Reserve.
