
Vietnam Airlines has temporarily suspended flights on seven routes: Hai Phong - Buon Me Thuot, Hai Phong - Cam Ranh, Hai Phong - Phu Quoc, Hai Phong - Can Tho, Ho Chi Minh City - Rach Gia, Ho Chi Minh City - Van Don, and Ho Chi Minh City - Dien Bien. The number of canceled flights on these routes is 23 per week.
Vietjet also estimates a 20% reduction in flight volume; Vietravel Airlines plans to cut the frequency of unprofitable routes from now until April 23rd. Meanwhile, Bamboo Airways expects to operate only 15-17 flights per day (a reduction of more than 50% compared to the current 35-36 flights per day) from April onwards; focusing on flights to/from Quy Nhon (UIH) and on main trunk routes.
