Comrade Bui Viet Hoang, Secretary of the Party Committee, stated: The Son La Telecommunications Party Committee has 10 subordinate grassroots branches, including 5 branches in Son La city and 5 branches in the district and town telecommunications centers, with a total of 110 party members. The collective and individuals consistently uphold a high level of awareness in self-cultivation and moral development, setting a good example in all work, especially in improving customer service and building trust with customers.
Quarterly, the Party Committee organizes thematic meetings on studying and following the ideology, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh, linked with the implementation of themes related to the innovation of production and business models of the Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Group, and the implementation of thematic resolutions on production and business. It directs Party branches to issue programs and plans, and propose solutions to improve the quality of customer care services in accordance with local realities.
In response to the strong demand for digital transformation, the Party Cell of the Song Ma - Sop Cop Telecommunications Center dispatched technical staff to survey and upgrade high-speed network systems for customers, including agencies, organizations, and businesses. In particular, the unit reorganized its internal LAN network and added load balancing equipment to the Song Ma District General Hospital and the Song Ma District Continuing Education Center, facilitating appointment scheduling, medical services, and online teaching.
Comrade Trinh Van Cuong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch and Director of VNPT Song Ma - Sop Cop Center, stated: From 2024 to the present, the unit has developed a plan to install XGS-PON networks for 50 government agencies, the General Hospital, the Song Ma District Health Center, schools, the Continuing Education Center, individual customers, business households, and enterprises. This has been highly appreciated and satisfied by customers, contributing to an additional revenue of 150 million VND per year and affirming the unit's pivotal role in providing telecommunications and information technology services.
Since VNPT Song Ma - Sop Cop restructured its internal LAN network, upgraded and added equipment, the deployment of medical examination and treatment software has become more efficient. Mr. Vu Van Hiep, Director of Song Ma District General Hospital, stated: "In particular, the VNPT-HIS software provided by VNPT helps the hospital digitize patient records from the initial reception to examination, treatment, department management, and ensures transparent and time-saving health insurance payments."
From 2024 to the present, cadres and Party members of the branches under VNPT Son La have proposed 36 initiatives and solutions to improve service quality, customer care, create customer satisfaction and trust, contributing to an increase in the number of customers using VNPT services; increasing average revenue by 3.73%/year; and increasing average employee income by 2.2%/year. Typical examples include the initiative "Some comprehensive customer care solutions combined with propaganda and mobilization of customers to use VNPT services" from the Moc Chau-Van Ho Telecommunications Center Party Branch; and the solution "Using tools and equipment to optimize time in production and business" from the Mai Son-Yen Chau Telecommunications Center Party Branch, which reduced the time to resolve a subscriber's issue from 2-4 hours to about 1 hour...
To enhance the internet connectivity experience for the people and customers, the Son La Telecommunications Party Committee has directed investment in telecommunications and information technology infrastructure, providing 4G coverage across 99% of the province, and ensuring 100% of communes, wards, and towns have high-speed fiber optic connections. In addition, VNPT Son La has implemented numerous services, technological solutions, and digital transformation applications across key sectors including e-government, education, healthcare, agriculture, and tourism.
To ensure the more effective implementation of Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the Politburo in the coming period, the Son La Telecommunications Party Committee will continue to promote propaganda to raise awareness, and leverage the role of cadres, Party members, and employees to improve customer service quality and production and business efficiency. At the same time, it will accelerate digital transformation among the people, moving towards a digital society.
