Guaranteed salary and adequate benefits.
Upon visiting Crystal Martin Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Quang Chau Industrial Park), we witnessed a bustling work atmosphere in most production departments. Due to the high volume of orders, the company is currently recruiting thousands of workers to ensure production schedules are met. Along with attractive policies to attract new talent, the company strives to guarantee salaries and allowances, while also providing adequate benefits to retain approximately 10,000 experienced workers.
The Human Resources Department and the Trade Union of Crystal Martin Vietnam Co., Ltd. regularly pay attention to and listen to the opinions of employees. |
With the motto "employees as the foundation for sustainable development," since the beginning of 2025, the company has increased the basic salary for workers, currently reaching 5.8 million VND/person/month. In addition, each month, workers also receive allowances such as: attendance bonus, transportation allowance, housing allowance, productivity bonus, new employee bonus, etc.; ensuring an average total income of 13 million VND/person. To stabilize the workforce, from July 1st this year, the Board of Directors implemented a program "Rewards for workers who continue to stay with the company." Accordingly, all garment workers who work until October 31st will receive a bonus of 4 million VND, paid in the October salary payment (November 10th). The bonus will be 3 million VND for other workers (assistant workers). Ms. Nguyen Thi Thoa, Human Resources Director of the company, said: "This is a special reward, a token of gratitude from the company's leadership for the tireless efforts, especially the companionship and dedication of the workers to the company."
| Bac Ninh province currently has approximately 28,400 operating businesses, creating jobs for over 766,100 workers; of which, workers in 32 industrial zones account for up to 70%. Established in 2009, Samsung Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. (SEV Factory), located in Yen Phong Industrial Park, currently provides stable employment for over 12,000 workers; the average income of employees reaches 9.7 million VND/person/month. In addition to ensuring jobs and income, the company's leadership and trade union always strive to build a generous welfare system to encourage long-term employee loyalty. Notable activities that have been enthusiastically received by workers include: mini-games to celebrate new product launches with many attractive prizes; monthly "Sport Day" sports competitions; a book reading day for union members in the dormitory; and gift-giving to workers during holidays and Tet (Lunar New Year)...
In particular, with a female workforce of up to 70%, the company always prioritizes and provides special support in terms of working conditions and rest for female union members who are pregnant or raising young children. From 2018 to the present, the company has effectively maintained the "Mommy Room" facility, which not only serves basic needs such as expressing and storing breast milk but also creates an optimal space for rest and relaxation for female employees who are pregnant or raising children under one year old.
Furthermore, during pregnancy, pregnant workers are assigned to a separate production area, with the workload and intensity not exceeding 85% of their normal level; they receive special meals twice a week; they are supported with check-ups and nutritional supplements as prescribed by the company doctor; and they participate in health counseling programs. According to Mr. Lai Hoang Dung, Chairman of the Company's Trade Union, the union recently organized a "Cool Ice Cream for Summer" program. During the peak months of June, July, and August, each union member and worker receives a free ice cream (various brands) twice a month, helping to cool down and boost morale during the hot summer days.
Ready to contribute
Bac Ninh province currently has approximately 28,400 operating businesses, creating jobs for over 766,100 workers; of which, workers in the province's 32 industrial zones account for 70%. In recent years, the average wage of workers has increased by 6-10%; reaching 8.4 million VND/person/month in 2024. Observations show that businesses generally comply strictly with labor laws; they focus on improving the working environment and allocating resources to implement better welfare policies for employees. In most units assessed as having good employee benefits, the workforce remains stable. This is because each worker desires to be committed, contribute, and work together with the business for sustainable development.

For example, at GU Vina Co., Ltd., located in the Viet Tien Industrial Cluster and specializing in the production of electronic components, production had to be halted in mid-May 2021 due to COVID-19 prevention and control regulations. When production resumed under the "3-in-1" model (referring to the company's on-site operations), the company faced numerous difficulties. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy, the company's director, stated that while orders were still substantial, mobilizing workers was challenging. However, contrary to expectations, within a single day, the human resources department successfully contacted nearly 300 workers (reaching 70% of the workforce stable before the pandemic) to return to work at the company. “The company's management is deeply moved by the workers' strong sense of camaraderie. Despite working overtime for 2.5-3 hours a day (double the previous amount), the workers consistently perform their best, maintaining stable long-term orders, helping the company retain its reputation with partners, and weathering this challenging period.”
It is known that the company currently provides stable employment for more than 2,200 workers. Including salary and allowances, the average monthly income of a worker reaches 10 million VND. Ms. Hoang Thi Phuong, a worker at the company, shared: “Although the work is hard, we are always highly aware of our responsibilities. Along with ensuring good salaries, bonuses, and benefits, the company's leadership is always approachable, listening to the aspirations of the workers to consider and resolve issues.”
Reportedly, after reorganizing its structure, the Bac Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor manages over 2,200 grassroots trade unions in enterprises and public service units that do not receive 100% of their salaries from the state budget, with over 579,500 members. Of these, over 1,500 are grassroots trade unions in industrial zones, with over 392,000 active members. According to Mr. Thach Van Chung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor, building harmonious labor relations is both a solution and a goal for businesses to achieve stable production and sustainable development. This is also a measure to assess a business's social responsibility and build its reputation and brand with customers. To achieve this, businesses must always take good care of their employees, considering them as valuable assets. From 2018 to the present, the Provincial Labor Union has reviewed and honored hundreds of "Outstanding Enterprises for Workers". Some companies have received this title two or more times, such as: Newwing Interconnect Technology Co., Ltd. (Van Trung Industrial Park); Haem Vina Co., Ltd. (Song Khe - Noi Hoang Industrial Park); Samsung Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Yen Phong Industrial Park); Yokoi Mould Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Dinh Tram Industrial Park)...
