It must be affirmed that Thu Thiem plays a driving role in helping Ho Chi Minh City accelerate its development in the new era, with many projects of particular significance, especially the International Financial Center and the Administrative- Political Center.

According to the master plan, Thu Thiem is a smart city and an ecological city, a financial center with very important drivers to create new opportunities for the development of Ho Chi Minh City.

Thu Thiem has the location and conditions to learn from the development models of Pudong - Shanghai (China) or Marina Bay ( Singapore ) with four pillars. These are: the new political and administrative center of Ho Chi Minh City, a symbol of digital transformation, digital government, administrative reform, and providing the best service to citizens and businesses.

The next pillar is the International Financial Center, integrated with modern financial technology (fintech), highlighted by a 99-story building – a new symbol of the city, connecting to the existing financial center on the west bank of the Saigon River.

The third pillar is the cultural center, with preserved heritage alongside modern cultural institutions (theaters, exhibition centers, squares, riverside parks) becoming an endogenous driving force of the city to support tourism development and attract international tourists.
