Trainees are guided in developing and implementing swimming and first aid programs for children in danger. They are equipped with knowledge about nutrition, medical care, hygiene, and safety while swimming. The training combines theory and practice, focusing on swimming instruction, safe rescue skills, and artificial respiration. The training includes three levels of swimming proficiency testing and practical exams in five drowning prevention skills. Simultaneously, it disseminates skills for accident prevention, health protection, and prevention of common illnesses associated with children swimming.
The program aims to improve the health, physical fitness, and stature of children and the community. It promotes the role of all levels of government, sectors, schools, and society as a whole in teaching swimming and preventing drowning. It contributes to protecting children and minimizing drowning accidents.
