At the same time, it's crucial to regularly observe the plants for any diseases, especially insects that damage leaves and buds, or diseases like soft rot that can cause the plant to decay. Furthermore, regular fertilization is essential for healthy growth, strong buds, and beautiful flowers.”

With over 20 years of experience growing marigolds and cockscomb flowers, every year in November of the lunar calendar, Ms. Nguyen Thi Can in Phuoc Tien village, Tan Phuoc commune, La Gi town, plants more than 2,000 pots of marigolds and over 1,000 pots of cockscomb flowers to supply the Tet (Lunar New Year) flower market. Ms. Can said that these two types of flowers are quite easy to grow and care for, but bring in a relatively high income.
