At approximately 9:30 PM on December 2nd, a small wooden fishing boat anchored in the sea area of ​​Bac Nha Trang ward, near Nguyen Co Thach street, suddenly caught fire.

According to eyewitnesses, the fire suddenly broke out in the cabin area of ​​the fishing boat. At the time of the incident, strong winds at sea caused the fire to spread rapidly, engulfing the entire hull of the vessel within minutes. Thick black smoke, accompanied by crackling noises from flammable materials on board, billowed into the air. Upon discovering the fire, fishermen and local residents shouted for help and quickly used available means to control the flames. Fortunately, no one was on board at the time of the fire, so there were no casualties. However, the entire cabin, machinery, fishing equipment, fishing nets, and many other assets on the boat were destroyed or severely damaged.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire and assessing the exact extent of the damage.
