The "Tet of Compassion" event, organized annually by the Lao Cai City Red Cross Society, aims to support those facing difficulties in life. This year, the event received support from the Vietnam Buddhist Association - Central Economic and Financial Committee, and many sponsors such as Dong Ta Phoi Joint Stock Company, Minh Duc General Construction Company Limited, Lao Cai Charitable Club, etc., including Lao Cai City High School No. 1, which provided a total of 520 gift packages worth 350 million VND. This is also an annual activity of the school in partnership with the Lao Cai City Red Cross Society and is part of the school's series of charitable activities.
