In that warm atmosphere, Ms. Quynh Trang emotionally extended New Year greetings to all officers and soldiers of the Border Guard in general and the officers and soldiers of Quang Duc Border Guard Station in particular; she thanked the unit for creating conditions for her and her children to celebrate a very meaningful New Year.

Beside his wife, Toản happily shared with his comrades: "Before Tet, my wife said she would arrange her work to come to the unit to celebrate the New Year with us, but because she had many other commitments, she wasn't sure. She and our child traveled over 300km to be here with me and my comrades to welcome the New Year. I'm so happy! The presence of my little family is the most precious gift, making this spring truly complete for me."
Three years after they fell in love and got married, Quynh Trang had heard Toan talk many times about the atmosphere of Tet celebrations at his unit, so she had a pretty good idea. However, celebrating the New Year with her husband, their child, and his comrades, she truly felt the joy and happiness. In that moment of harmony between heaven and earth, surrounded by her husband's comrades, she felt a warmth as if she were celebrating Tet in her own home. Little Sua happily played, receiving attention and games from the soldiers, making the atmosphere at the border guard post even more lively and full of warmth and camaraderie.
Speaking with us, Ms. Quynh Trang couldn't hide the radiant happiness on her face, saying: "This year's Tet was truly joyful. My daughter and I participated in the 'Spring Border Guard Program, Warming the Hearts of the Villagers,' and witnessed the nimble hands of the villagers and soldiers competing in the rice cake wrapping contest. The finished rice cakes were uniform, beautiful, and full of the flavor of family love. No one cared about winning or losing, because the shared joy spread throughout the mountains and forests. Little Sua smiled brightly when the villagers gave her a pair of rice cakes to cook with the unit's rice cake pot tonight."
Sharing about her small family, Ms. Quynh Trang hopes that in the new year, her husband will always be steadfast in every task, knowing that she and their daughter are always there as his support, with all their love, understanding, and sharing. She also believes that with mutual understanding and solidarity, she and her husband will overcome the obstacles of distance and time, and continue to build an increasingly happy home. And if given the opportunity, next year she and her daughter hope to celebrate Tet (Lunar New Year) with her husband at the border guard station again.
In the harsh climate of the northeastern border region, with freezing winter nights and biting mountain winds, the warmth of loved ones and the camaraderie of comrades warm the hearts of border guards who are day and night protecting the country's sovereignty .
