A Master's graduate from the 80s generation becomes the Secretary of the Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee.

Ms. Ton Ngoc Hanh, Vice President of the Vietnam Women's Union, has been assigned and appointed by the Politburo to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, and to hold the position of Secretary of the Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee.

This afternoon (November 22), the Standing Committee of the Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo 's decision on the transfer and appointment of the Secretary of the Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee.

The conference was attended by Mr. Le Minh Hung, Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, and Head of the Central Organization Department; and Mr. Do Trong Hung, Member of the Central Committee of the Party and Deputy Head of the Central Organization Department. At the conference, Mr. Do Trong Hung announced the Politburo's decision to transfer and appoint Ms. Ton Ngoc Hanh, Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Party and Vice President of the Vietnam Women's Union, to relinquish her position as Vice President of the Vietnam Women's Union; to be transferred and appointed to the Provincial Party Committee and Standing Committee, to serve as Secretary of the Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, and to participate in the Party Committee of Military Region 7 for the 2020-2025 term. Ms. Hanh was transferred to the position of Secretary of the Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee, replacing Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong, who was recently transferred and appointed by the Politburo as Deputy Head of the Central Foreign Affairs Department on November 20th.

Ms. Ton Ngoc Hanh, born in 1980, hails from Thuan An City, Binh Duong Province. She holds a Master's degree in Political Science (specializing in Party Building), a Bachelor's degree in Party Building and State Administration, and advanced political theory qualifications. Prior to her position as Secretary of the Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee, Ms. Hanh served as Secretary of the Binh Phuoc Provincial Youth Union, a member of the National Assembly's Committee on Social Affairs (14th term), Director of the Binh Phuoc Provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, and Secretary of the Dong Xoai City Party Committee (2015-2020 and 2020-2025 terms). At the 13th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam in January 2021, she was elected as an alternate member of the Central Committee. In March 2022, at the 13th National Congress of the Vietnam Women's Union (2022-2027 term), Ms. Hanh was elected as Vice President of the Vietnam Women's Union.
