At Quan Su Pagoda, the headquarters of the Vietnam Buddhist Association, Nguyen Trong Nghia, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, cordially extended greetings and best wishes to the venerable monks, nuns, and Buddhist followers nationwide on the occasion of National Day on September 2nd and the Vu Lan Festival (a Buddhist festival honoring parents).

Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia affirmed that throughout the revolutionary journey, the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha has always accompanied the nation, upholding the tradition of "protecting the country and ensuring the people's well-being," contributing to consolidating national unity. In particular, the Sangha's activities in Dharma propagation, charity, humanitarian work, and social welfare have created a widespread impact, contributing to building a rich spiritual life for the people. The Party and State always pay attention to and create conditions for religious organizations to operate according to the motto "good life, beautiful religion," adhering to the Constitution and laws, and accompanying the country in the cause of national construction and defense. Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia hoped that the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha would continue to promote the spirit of engagement with the world, closely connected with the people, working together to preserve and promote cultural and moral values, contributing to building a spiritual foundation in the new era.

Following this, at the Hanoi Archbishop's Palace, the Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, Nguyen Trong Nghia, met with and congratulated the Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Bishops' Conference, Archbishop Joseph Vu Van Thien of the Hanoi Archdiocese, along with priests, religious, and lay people on the occasion of National Day, September 2nd. On behalf of the Party and State leadership, Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions of Catholic compatriots nationwide, including the Hanoi Archdiocese, to the country's renewal, construction, and development. Many movements and activities related to charity, philanthropy, education promotion, caring for the poor, and environmental protection have clearly demonstrated the spirit of "living the Gospel in the heart of the nation," closely linked to the common cause of the country.
