Waiting for Quang Hai to shine.
Hanoi Police is one of the few Vietnamese football teams with a very busy schedule, as in addition to the V-League and the National Cup, they also participate in the Southeast Asian Champions League. At the recent AFF Cup 2024, Hanoi Police also had the honor of contributing five players to the Vietnamese national team: goalkeeper Nguyen Filip, defenders Bui Hoang Viet Anh and Vu Van Thanh, and midfielders Nguyen Quang Hai and Le Pham Thanh Long.

Immediately after winning the AFF Cup 2024 with the Vietnamese national team, Nguyen Quang Hai and his teammates from CAHN Club went to Manila to compete in the Southeast Asian Champions League (Shopee Cup), winning 2-1 against Kaya Iloilo Club, thereby maintaining their top position in Group B.
At 7:15 PM today at Hang Day Stadium, Nguyen Quang Hai and the Hanoi Police team will host Ha Tinh in the Round of 16 of the 2024-2025 National Cup. In their first home game of the new year 2025, coach Mano Polking and his team expressed their determination to win to create momentum for their journey to conquer all three competitions.
Ha Tinh FC (in red) is also determined to defeat CAHN in the round of 16 of the 2024-2025 National Cup.
In terms of overall strength, Nguyen Quang Hai and his teammates are considered superior; however, the consistency of the CAHN team's players is not as good as their opponents. For example, in the V-League, Ha Tinh has won 3, drawn 6, and earned 15 points after 9 matches, while CAHN has won 4, drawn 2, and lost 3, earning 14 points. As the only team undefeated in the V-League, Luong Xuan Truong and the Ha Tinh team promise to pose a challenge to CAHN. The question of how to penetrate Ha Tinh's solid defense awaits the solution from coach Mano Polking's players.
The match between CAHN and Ha Tinh in the round of 16 of the National Cup will take place at 7:15 PM today at Hang Day Stadium and will be broadcast live onFPT Play and HTV Sports.
