According to the decision, the Da Nang Free Trade Zone covers an area of ​​1,881 hectares and is envisioned as a regional economic , logistics, and technology hub. The Da Nang Free Trade Zone is situated in non-contiguous locations and comprises functional zones for manufacturing, logistics, trade and services, digital technology, information technology and innovation, and other types of functional zones.

The Da Nang Free Trade Zone is planned and developed on a foundation of modern infrastructure, encompassing a synchronized system of high-quality production, trade, logistics, technology, and services. Its goal is to become a regional economic hub, playing a strategic growth role for Central Vietnam and the entire country in the context of new development.
