Attending the ceremony on the province side were comrades: Dang Hong Sy - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Minh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. On the Phan Thiet City side were comrades: Pham Van Nam - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee; Phan Nguyen Hoang Tan - Chairman of the City People's Committee. Also attending were comrades in the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee; leaders of the City People's Committee, departments and units. The ceremony was also attended by comrades who were former leaders of Phan Thiet City through the periods.

At the ceremony, Comrade Pham Van Nam - Secretary of the City Party Committee shared that the Party Committee and people of the city have had a proud 78-year journey of formation and development. The long journey, though arduous, is also brilliant, crystallized from patriotism, aspiration to rise up and the spirit of solidarity and unceasing dedication of many generations of cadres, party members and people of the city. The peaceful land by the poetic Ca Ty River has written many glorious pages of history and Phan Thiet today has changed every day; not only by the diligent hands of the people, but also thanks to the tireless dedication of the city's cadres, party members, civil servants and public employees. These are the people who silently contribute each brick to the solid foundation of a modern, affectionate city. He expressed his gratitude to the silent efforts and passionate hearts who have devoted their lives to their homeland Phan Thiet - a city not only beautiful in its landscape, but also beautiful in its humanity, a friendly and affectionate Phan Thiet.

The Secretary of the City Party Committee also informed that by June 30, 2025, the city will end the operation of district-level administrative units and organize a 2-level local government with 7 new wards and communes: Phan Thiet, Binh Thuan, Phu Thuy, Mui Ne, Tien Thanh, Ham Thang, Tuyen Quang. He hoped that the new wards and communes will continue to promote the glorious tradition, the spirit of solidarity, trust in the will and determination, intelligence and belief of the Phan Thiet Party Committee to achieve even greater victories. Applying advanced and modern scientific and technological achievements; ensuring social security, preserving and promoting the traditional cultural identity of the locality to contribute to building the new Lam Dong province. "This is not only the responsibility of an individual or an organization but of the entire community to create a sustainable development environment for future generations, together with the whole country to firmly move towards socialism", Secretary of the City Party Committee - Pham Van Nam emphasized.

At the ceremony, the current leaders of the city expressed their gratitude to the former leaders of Phan Thiet City through the periods to express their gratitude and respect for their contributions to their hometown Phan Thiet. At the same time, the city leaders also awarded awards to organizations and units that have made contributions to Phan Thiet City in the past time.
