In early December, the first-ever World Tea Fest 2025 will be held in Vietnam, taking place in Lam Dong province, featuring numerous activities celebrating tea and tea culture. This event will once again affirm the position of Vietnamese tea on the international stage.
In Can Tho City, a recently opened tea house offers visitors the opportunity to experience and better understand tea appreciation and tea culture. Besides tea ceremonies, the tea house also regularly hosts performances of traditional musical instruments, tea brewing workshops, and tea tasting sessions… This is Thanh Yen Tea House.

Thanh Yen Tea House is located at 12, Street 3, Con Khuong, Cai Khe Ward, Can Tho City. The tea house is shaded by ancient trees, creating a tranquil and peaceful atmosphere.

What's unique at Thanh Yen Tea House is the teapet experience. These are decorative items on the tea table made from a special material that change color when in contact with hot water, or certain types of teacups/trays that change color according to water temperature. For example, the crabs and shrimp, originally black, will turn a beautiful and interesting bright red when hot water is slowly poured over them.

Another unique product is Thanh Yen tropical tea. The herbal tea pot is placed on a charcoal stove, combined with roasted fruits, roots, or nuts.

Tea sets with different names and uses, along with a wide variety of teas, are enough to pique the curiosity and interest of diners.

Ms. Ha My Tham, owner of Thanh Yen Tea House, said: "With my love for Vietnamese tea, I want to spread tea culture closer to everyone."
