In early December, the International Tea Festival - World Tea Fest 2025 will be held for the first time in Vietnam, taking place in Lam Dong province, with many activities honoring tea and tea culture. The event once again affirms the position of Vietnamese tea in the international arena.
In Can Tho City, a newly opened tea shop has helped customers experience and understand more about tea drinking and tea culture. In addition to the tea master, the shop also periodically holds traditional musical instrument performances, workshops on tea making and tea drinking, etc. That is Thanh Yen Tea Shop.
Thanh Yen Tea House is located at No. 12, Street No. 3, Con Khuong, Cai Khe Ward, Can Tho City. The tea house is shaded by ancient trees, with a quiet, gentle atmosphere.
Unique to Thanh Yen Tea House is the tea pet experience. It is a decoration on the tea table made from a special material that changes color when in contact with hot water, or some types of tea cups/trays that can change color according to the water temperature. For example, the crabs and shrimps are originally black, but customers slowly pour hot water on them and the crabs and shrimps will turn bright red, very beautiful and interesting.
Another unique product is Thanh Yen tropical tea. The herbal teapot will be placed on a charcoal stove, combined with roasted fruits, tubers, seeds...
