Playground of youth's aspirations and inner strength

Participating in the contest for the first time, two female students majoring in Mathematics Education, Quang Binh University, Tran Ngoc Phuong and Tran Nu Hong Ngoc, left a special mark when they won first prize in the student category with a start-up project to sell handmade gifts from wool.

Stemming from their love of crafts and their endless creativity, the two young people spent more than three months diligently preparing, from coming up with ideas, researching the market, analyzing competitors to designing test products, building financial plans, communicating and implementing sales channels.

Not stopping at manual skills, the group also proactively applies technology such as 3D design and digital marketing tools to enhance products, creating unique, emotional and personal gift designs.

The project not only meets the increasing demand for personalized products but also demonstrates a methodical startup mindset and clear direction. In the future, the team aims to expand local production, develop a professional sales system, increase promotion on e-commerce platforms and target international markets through cooperation with businesses and travel companies. With careful preparation, a spirit of learning and a desire to spread value from small things, the project conquered the judges and ranked highest in the student category.

It can be seen that, besides the handmade gift business project from wool by the group of authors Tran Ngoc Phuong and Tran Nu Hong Ngoc, this creative startup competition is truly a gathering place for many bold and serious startup ideas.

18 competing projects were divided into 2 groups: Youth startups and student startups, showing diversity in fields, creativity in approach and clearly demonstrating depth of expertise and orientation towards sustainable development. Not just stopping at ideas on paper, many projects have prototype products, revenue, partners and initial markets.

Products such as: Banana covered with dried coconut, Bo Chinh ginseng pills with Doc De honey or e-commerce platform in Laos, straws made from lotus trees... clearly reflect the innovative thinking and strong spirit of commitment of young people in their entrepreneurial journey. Each product, in addition to bearing the mark of creativity, is also imbued with indigenous values, humanistic spirit, associated with community responsibility and environmental protection.

At the student startup board, the organizers noted the careful preparation from marketing strategy, market analysis to personalization and environmental friendliness in each project. Not only that, many projects have clearly identified target customer groups, determined reasonable distribution channels and especially turned traditional medicine into modern consumer products, such as: Cough syrup, cough candy with the orientation of "green-healthy-clean".

The youth start-up board also witnessed remarkable progress. Models such as: “Vegetarianism - Sowing green seeds”, “Organic Luc Truc bamboo shoots” or “Bo Chinh ginseng pills with Doc De honey” not only focus on economic efficiency but also emphasize local characteristics, linked to culture and developing community tourism. Young people no longer start businesses with the goal of getting rich, but also carry a greater ideal of creating sustainable value for the community.

Despite many difficulties, such as: limited resources, technology or brand building, the solid foundation of ideas, the spirit of learning, perseverance and belief in self-worth have created a strong vitality for each project. The competition is the "springboard" for those startup seeds to continue to grow and bear sweet fruit in the future.

From dream to action - spreading strong entrepreneurial spirit

According to Mr. Dinh Trung Hieu, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Provincial Youth Union Council: The most outstanding point of this year's competition is the clear maturity of the contestants, not only in the form of presentation, but also in economic thinking and product development strategy. Many young people, although only in their twenties, have convinced the judges with sharp arguments, good critical thinking skills and admirable confidence.

The lively presentations, clear arguments and professional introduction videos also contribute to highlighting the spirit of ownership and enrichment through the inner intelligence of the young generation. Starting a business for them is no longer a “pipe dream”, but is present every day, in every product, every story and every practical action.

Projects that are starting to make a profit, have a clear market, have plans for expansion and especially have the trust of the community. That is a very encouraging signal for the creative startup movement of the province.

At the end of the competition, the creative startup journey of young people does not stop but continues with many new hopes. The competition is not only a destination, but also a starting point, a place to "sow" the seeds of belief, ignite passion and form new values for the future.

With innovative ideas and a spirit of dedication and not afraid of challenges, young people have proven their intelligence, courage and aspiration. They are the typical nuclei promoting green, clean and sustainable economic development in their homeland.

“We have the right to expect because today’s young generation is ready to step out of their comfort zone, dare to think differently, do differently to create new, smarter, more humane economic models. And also from this competition, we can believe in an innovative, dynamic, integrated, and sustainably developing Quang Tri that is gradually taking shape from the inner strength of the youth,” affirmed Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Dinh Trung Hieu.
