Strengthening people-to-people exchange between Vietnam and France

(GLO)- On the afternoon of July 9, the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations and the Vietnam - France Friendship Association jointly organized a meeting to celebrate the 236th anniversary of the National Day of the French Republic (July 14, 1789 - July 14, 2025), with the participation of many delegates, scientists and French friends working and researching in Quy Nhon.

Over the years, the Vietnam - France Friendship Association has closely coordinated with the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations and the International Center for Interdisciplinary Science and Education (ICISE) to organize many practical activities, notably the annual event "Meeting on the occasion of French National Day" in Quy Nhon City (old).

This is where French scholars, scientists and intellectuals gather within the framework of international conferences at ICISE - a living symbol of academic cooperation and cultural exchange.

Notably, in March 2025, representatives of the French Embassy also came to Quy Nhon (old) to attend the 6th National Innovative Startup Forum organized by the Department of Science & Technology in coordination with the National Startup Association.

Speaking at the meeting, Professor René Mege - Head of the Organizing Committee of the 3rd International Conference on Biomechanics from Basic to Applied Research (held at ICISE from July 7 to 11), expressed his impression of Quy Nhon - a beautiful and friendly city. Along with that, the provincial leaders always give special priority to science and education.

According to Mr. Le Cong Nhuong, Chairman of the Vietnam - France Friendship Association, in the context of Binh Dinh and Gia Lai officially merging into Gia Lai province (new) from July 1, the regional connectivity space has been expanded, creating a more favorable foundation to promote multi-field international cooperation.
