On October 6, information from the International Center for Interdisciplinary Science and Education (ICISE, Quy Nhon Nam ward), the unit is preparing to organize the international conference "100 years of quantum physics", gathering more than 80 professors, scientists, and graduate students from 14 countries...

The conference took place over 3 days, from October 7 to 9. This conference was honored to welcome Professor Serge Haroche, winner of the 2012 Nobel Prize in Physics (with Professor David Wineland, USA) to attend and present a scientific report.
Professor Haroche (81 years old) is one of the leading scientists of modern quantum physics, a pioneer in researching the interaction between light and single atoms - the foundation for the birth of quantum computing technology and quantum telecommunications today.

Born in 1944 in Casablanca (Morocco), graduated from the Polytechnic School of Paris and Pierre & Marie Curie University, Professor Haroche is currently an honorary professor at the Collège de France, a member of the French Academy of Sciences, the US National Academy of Sciences, and an honorary member of many international scientific associations.
In a career spanning more than half a century, he has received a series of prestigious awards such as the Einstein Prize in Laser Science (1988), the Humboldt Prize (1992), the CNRS Gold Medal (2009)... He is the teacher and collaborator of many of the world's leading physicists such as Professor Michel Brune, Professor Arno Rauschenbeutel, Professor Claude Fabre, Professor Jean-Michel Raimond.

Along with Professor Haroche, the conference also had the participation of many prestigious speakers such as: Professor Hans Bachor (Australian National University), Professor John Doyle (Harvard University, USA), Professor Alberto Bramati (Sorbonne University, France/National University of Singapore), Professor Michel Brune (Collège de France, France), Professor Arno Rauschenbeutel (Humboldt University of Berlin, Germany) and many other leading experts.
Before the official opening of the conference, the organizing committee organized specialized tutorial sessions for graduate students and young scientists to equip them with basic knowledge and expand international connections in research.
Roundtable discussions within the conference will also provide opportunities for young scientists to present their work, receive feedback from international experts and launch new collaborative research projects.
Thus, since its inception in 2013, the ICISE Center has welcomed more than 16,500 scientists from over 60 countries and territories; including 19 Nobel Prize-winning professors.
