The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting warns that from December 1 to December 2, in the North and North Central regions, the nights will be cold (some places in the mountainous areas of the North will be very cold), and the days will be sunny and dry (sunny but cold, air humidity will drop to 35-40%). Due to the temperature difference between day and night, there will be a temperature inversion, fog may appear in the early morning, and high mountainous areas need to be on guard against the possibility of frost and frost.

According to meteorologists, the fog can cause pollution or reduce air quality, reducing visibility in the early morning and at night. The fog will be more obvious when the current cold air weakens.

Faced with this risk, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment has just sent a document to 7 localities in the North (including Hanoi, Hai Phong, Bac Ninh, Hung Yen, Phu Tho, Thai Nguyen, Ninh Binh) requesting to respond to the air pollution wave from late November to early December due to the risk of inverse weather, windless weather, and fog causing the accumulation of PM2.5 fine dust.
For the Central and Southern regions, the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that from December 2, in the coastal provinces of the South Central region, the Central Highlands and the South, there will be showers to localized heavy rain. In the Central Highlands, the morning and night will be cold; in other regions, the morning and night will be cold.
Meteorological experts note that the circulation of storm No. 15 combined with the cold air strengthening down to the Central region from December 1 will cause widespread rain from Quang Tri to Dak Lak, then expanding to Lam Dong province from December 2 to December 4. Dak Lak and Khanh Hoa may see 50-100mm of rain (but not as extreme as the period from November 16 to 22).
