Handing over comrades' house to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Military Region 9's traditional day

As part of a series of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Armed Forces of Military Region 9 (December 10, 1945 - December 10, 2025), on the afternoon of November 30, authorized by the Military Region 9 Command, the An Giang Provincial Military Command organized a ceremony to hand over comrades' houses to military families with difficult housing circumstances.

The delegation came to hand over the house to Major Dinh Quoc Kiet (residing in Long Thanh commune, An Giang province), a soldier currently working at the An Giang Provincial Military Command who is facing housing difficulties.

The house handed over was solidly built on the family's land with an area of ​​over 90 square ^meters , with a corrugated iron roof and tiled floor, worth nearly 300 million VND. Of which, the fund for building comrades' houses of the Military Region Command supported 60 million VND, the remaining amount was contributed by the family.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, Colonel Cao Minh Tam, Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, hoped that the military families who received their houses on this occasion would continue to strive to improve their lives, build a prosperous and happy family, worthy of the tradition of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", continue to work with peace of mind, and be ready to receive and complete all assigned tasks well.
