Not long ago, Xiaomi launched the Redmi K90 and Redmi K90 Pro Max duo using Snapdragon 8-Series chips in its home country of China.
Today, the famous leaker Smart Pikachu said that the company is planning to add more models to this product line, including the Redmi K90 Pro model. The Redmi K90 Pro phone will be the third member of this product line, after the Redmi K90 and K90 Pro Max duo.

According to sources, the Redmi K90 series may soon have two more members in the near future, namely the Redmi K90 Pro and K90 Ultra. These two phones are expected to have 6.6-inch and 6.8-inch screens, adding more diversity to the current product line.
The current Redmi K90 has a 6.59-inch display designed to balance one-handed comfort and display space, while the K90 Pro Max has a 6.9-inch display for users who prefer a phone with a large display.
Many initial speculations also suggested that the Redmi K90 Pro version will use the Dimensity 9500 chipset, while the Ultra model will be powered by the Dimensity 9500 Plus SoC.
According to previously leaked information, Redmi K90 Ultra may be equipped with a 6.8-inch OLED LTPS screen with 1.5K resolution and a high refresh rate of 165 Hz.
Not only upgraded appearance, Redmi K90 Ultra is also said to support stronger water resistance, in line with the trend of increasing water resistance on recent high-end models. The device may come with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor under the screen and an improved sound system.

Redmi's K90 series will reveal 2 more members with great configuration?
The biggest highlight is the battery capacity. According to leaks, the Redmi K90 Ultra can be equipped with a battery of nearly 8,000 mAh, a huge increase compared to the K90 Pro Max and previous Ultra models. The source also said that the device will be optimized with software specifically for high frame rate mode, helping to improve performance when running heavy tasks.
The power of the K90 Ultra is expected to come from the MediaTek Dimensity 9 series processor. This could be the Dimensity 9500 Plus, which is expected to launch in 2026. With the orientation of a performance-oriented upgrade, the K90 Ultra is said to prioritize speed and stability, while the camera system can be kept at a fairly good level.
The Redmi K80 Ultra was released in June 2025, so it's likely that the K90 Ultra will continue this cycle. If Xiaomi sticks to its schedule, the new Ultra model could launch around mid-2026 in China.
Additionally, it is being reported that Xiaomi may release a tweaked version of the K90 Ultra to market internationally under the Xiaomi brand instead of Redmi.
