Every year, during the general health check-up season, the HR team atFPT is always on duty 24/7. Tens of thousands of employees nationwide need to have their check-up and screening appointments scheduled; Excel spreadsheets are overflowing with data, and thousands of emails and requests to reschedule are received daily.
In 2025, that "nightmare" was resolved when HR redesigned its entire process to allow Maya – a virtual HR assistant developed by FPT – to automate many stages. Maya, on behalf of HR, sent over 20,000 reminder messages, answered questions, and compiled feedback in just a few hours, freeing HR to focus on higher-value activities: listening to and improving the employee experience.
Within the company, Maya helps process over 50,000 support requests from 13,000 employees each month, from leave requests to meeting room bookings. Behind Maya is an AI Agent platform based on a large dataset of tens of thousands of employees, enabling the system to understand context and respond flexibly.
Meanwhile, in the production sector, FPT engineers have SkyTrans, an "AI translation assistant," helping to bridge language barriers in a global work environment. SkyTrans can translate one million characters in less than a minute, supports over 100 languages and 20 formats, and allows for customizable voiceovers, enabling seamless cross-border meetings. After 10 months since its launch, SkyTrans has surpassed 8,000 users, processed 1.1 billion characters, and saved the company 16 billion VND in translation costs.
These are just two of over 1,000 AI Agents that FPT has developed to enhance human capabilities and create happiness in all operational, learning, and creative activities. With the philosophy of "Think Big - Start Smart - Develop Fast," each AI Agent is tested by FPT for 6-8 weeks and is only expanded if it demonstrates clear effectiveness.

At the global level, the AI-First spirit has become the guiding principle for all FPT projects and the value they deliver to customers. Beyond simply applying AI to individual products, FPT has transformed AI into an operational platform, enabling businesses to advance further on their digital transformation journey.
In Japan, FPT has partnered with Itochu Corporation – a leading diversified enterprise in the country – for over 10 years in its digital transformation journey, from SAP to advanced AI applications. In just two months, Itochu successfully deployed an AI platform developed from IvyChat – a multi-agent big language model application solution supporting data analysis, multilingual translation, and cross-border team connectivity. After one year, the solution had expanded its application to Itochu branches in 65 countries and continued to be deployed in various sectors including finance, insurance, and manufacturing in the US, Japan, and Europe.
In the insurance sector, FPT has developed the AI Agent Digital Platform (AIDP), a platform that unifies all business operations into a single application, currently serving over 15,000 agents at two leading insurance groups in the Asia- Pacific region. Representatives from one of the two groups shared that AIDP helps their consulting teams increase productivity by 10%, the number of quotes sent out each month by 25%, and significantly improves customer satisfaction. With these groundbreaking results, AIDP was honored with the Sao Khue Award 2025 and is expanding into many international markets.

Over the years, FPT has invested in building a comprehensive AI human resources ecosystem, combining internal training, international cooperation, and attracting leading experts. “By 2025, we aim for 80-100% of our IT services personnel for overseas markets to be proficient in using AI in their daily work to improve efficiency and output quality. Of these, approximately 20% of engineers will become AI Application Engineers – a pioneering force in building and deploying useful AI solutions for customers,” shared Mr. Vu Tien Dat, Human Resources Director of FPT Software, FPT Group.
