Immediately after reorganizing its administrative structure and units, the Provincial Women's Union quickly stabilized its organization and continued to direct its branches at all levels to develop plans for implementing emulation movements and organize many specific and practical activities to care for and support women. The focus was on strengthening propaganda; training and improving knowledge and skills for economic development; and supporting women in starting and establishing businesses.
In their propaganda work, women's associations at all levels disseminate directives and resolutions of the Party, and policies and laws of the State related to women, focusing on content related to marriage and family, protection, care and education of children, gender equality, etc. "To ensure that propaganda work is not monotonous and avoids being detached from reality, women's associations at all levels regularly organize forums and dialogues, listening to the thoughts and aspirations of members, thereby building appropriate and effective content and forms of propaganda and support," said Truong Thanh Thuy, President of the Provincial Women's Union.
Women's associations at all levels are constantly innovating the content and methods of their activities, organizing and implementing patriotic emulation movements linked to the association's key tasks and local socio-economic development goals. Many movements and campaigns have been launched and effectively maintained, such as "Building the Vietnamese woman of the new era," "Building a family with 5 no's and 3 clean's," and "A family with 5 yes's and 3 clean's"... These movements are linked to promoting "Studying and following the thoughts, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh ," attracting a large number of cadres, members, and women to participate through concrete and practical actions.
Through emulation movements, female members are encouraged to voluntarily study, be dynamic and creative in labor, production, and business; regularly update their knowledge, spread positive images and good practices, and support each other in developing family economies. Nguyen Thi Be Thu, President of the Women's Union of Cu Lao Gieng commune, shared: "The Women's Union at all levels regularly promotes emulation movements, exemplary individuals, and good deeds on social media to spread awareness and create motivation for members to learn and follow."
Supporting women in developing family economies and achieving sustainable poverty reduction has been identified as a key priority. By 2025, women's associations at all levels will coordinate training to transfer scientific and technical knowledge, improve skills in crop cultivation and livestock farming, and create conditions for members and women to access preferential loan sources. To date, the total outstanding loan balance of the Social Policy Bank through women's associations has reached over 4,449 billion VND, with 102,599 households borrowing capital. Women's associations at all levels maintain 196 capital assistance groups with 4,108 members, providing capital support to 3,867 poor women and members, totaling nearly 12 billion VND, to develop production and business, gradually stabilizing their lives.
With specific, practical activities and increasingly innovative approaches, the emulation movement of the Provincial Women's Union has truly become an integral part of the lives of its officials and members, creating a vibrant atmosphere of competition, attracting a large number of women to participate, and contributing to affirming the role and position of women in the family and society.
