
Promoting digital transformation in healthcare between Vietnam and Japan - Photo: VGP
This was affirmed by Deputy Minister of Health Tran Van Thuan at the ceremony announcing the digital transformation cooperation in the field of healthcare between FPT Group and Tokushukai Group (Japan's No. 1 private healthcare group), held on May 19th in Hanoi.
According to the cooperation agreement,FPT and its affiliated company will be allowed to use the Tokushukai Healthcare Group brand in healthcare activities in Vietnam. FPT and Tokushukai Healthcare Group will jointly promote cooperation to create advanced and modern technological solutions in the field of healthcare in hospital systems in Vietnam and Japan.
At the ceremony, Mr. Ito Naoki, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Vietnam, stated that by leveraging each other's strengths, he expects the two corporations to strongly promote digital transformation in the healthcare sector, while also bringing advanced healthcare products and services to the people of Vietnam and Japan in the future.
Representing Tokushukai Healthcare Group, Mr. Higashiue Shinichi, Chairman of the Group, stated that through this collaboration, the Group aims to contribute to improving the quality of healthcare services and providing the best possible services to the people of Vietnam.
Mr. Truong Gia Binh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of FPT Group, affirmed that from its inception, FPT has aspired to develop technology for the benefit of humanity and believes that technology must serve human happiness, with health being the most important foundation.
Therefore, the Group always aims to apply technology, especially artificial intelligence, to better care for each individual's health and work together with Tokushukai Healthcare Group towards long-term sustainable values.
Tokushukai Healthcare Group is Japan's largest private healthcare system, established in 1973. The group currently operates approximately 92 hospitals and hundreds of medical facilities throughout Japan, providing comprehensive healthcare services ranging from diagnosis and treatment, rehabilitation, to nursing homes. It also collaborates internationally with universities and hospitals, and trains healthcare professionals. Tokushukai Healthcare Group has also supported and transferred numerous medical facilities, treatment technologies, and healthcare services to countries across four continents worldwide.
