The construction progress of Rach Mieu 2 bridge is approximately 95%.

On June 24th, Mr. Tran Van Thi, Director of the My Thuan Project Management Board, stated that the overall progress of the Rach Mieu 2 Bridge Construction Project (connecting Tien Giang and Ben Tre provinces) has reached approximately 95%, with the goal of completion by early August.

The Rach Mieu 2 bridge is expected to be completed in early August.

According to Mr. Thi, the Rach Mieu 2 Bridge Project is expected to complete all 5/5 bridges on the route and access roads in June, and will be put into operation before September 2nd.

Currently, nearly 600 workers and technical staff from various units are working on the construction site, maintaining a 3-shift, 4-team system with 30 construction teams and 150 pieces of construction equipment. Everyone is determined to complete the project as directed by the Prime Minister .

Construction units are completing the access road and the interchange at the end of National Highway 60.

The Rach Mieu 2 Bridge project starts at Dong Tam intersection (the junction between National Highway 1 and Provincial Road 870) in Chau Thanh district, Tien Giang province; the project's end point is at approximately Km16+660 on National Highway 60, about 0.71km from the northern abutment of Ham Luong Bridge, in Ben Tre City, Ben Tre province. The project has a total investment of over 6,810 billion VND and is managed by the My Thuan Project Management Board.

The main Rach Mieu 2 bridge is a cable-stayed bridge with a length of 1,971.2m, a Class III road with 4 lanes, and a total project length of approximately 17.6km. Upon completion, the project will help alleviate pressure on the existing Rach Mieu bridge, reducing traffic congestion on weekends and holidays.
