Each season will feature a unique Vietnamese-international collaboration, marking a new step forward and inspiring a generation of young artists to dare to dream global dreams.
Vingroup 's 8Wonder hopes to create a long-term creative axis, starting from the laboratory, breaking musical boundaries, mixing genres, languages and styles to connect and harmonize Vietnamese and international artists in an inspiring blend.
Focusing on depicting the process from the germination of an idea to creating a beat, writing lyrics to the moment of exploding on stage and going global.

First time and new turning point
Dare to dream big outside your territory - why is it so important?
In recent years, Vietnam has welcomed many international artists such as BlackPink, Charlie Puth, Imagine Dragons, Maroon 5, Ronan Keating, Backstreet Boys, Michael Learns to Rock, Scorpions, Boney M, Kenny G, Bond Quartet... They came to hold concerts, live shows or perform at a brand event.
However, there are almost no collaborations between Vietnamese and foreign artists on the same stage. International artists only see Vietnam as a potential destination or come because of the high pay… and then finish the performance.

Apart from some exchanges such as wearing Ao Dai, wearing conical hats, saying a few cute Vietnamese sentences like "I love Vietnam", "I will miss you"... or being impressed by Vietnamese dishes, when asked, international artists said they knew very little or had not learned much about Vietnamese music . They also had no need to exchange culture through music.
At the press conference when Kenny G or the Bond Quartet performed in Vietnam, when asked why there were no collaborations between international and Vietnamese artists, the answer the press received was usually that international artists wanted an "original" set of their own.
That means there is still some distance even when stars come to our country and perform.
Therefore, at 8Wonder, the fact that a Vietnamese artist collaborated with a global star on a project, performed on the same stage, and then released a joint product afterwards, created a significant step forward in the integration process of contemporary Vietnamese music with world music.
There, domestic artists can stand on the same stage with the world's big names to harmonize and connect in an attractive musical space, with eye-catching performances and sublime emotions, regardless of skin color, race, or nationality. They have a strong cultural exchange through music without any hindrance.
This collaboration is also an opportunity for young Vietnamese artists to exchange and learn from the world's hit-making "machines". Encourage them to confidently create and reach out internationally.
It also sets new standards for Vietnamese artists to improve themselves, upgrade themselves, collaborate with world stars and reach out beyond their borders.
