The program took place in a vibrant and meaningful atmosphere with outstanding artistic performances praising love for the homeland and the image of soldiers with the noble task of protecting the Fatherland; delegates reviewed the glorious historical traditions of the Vietnam People's Army; and watched a documentary about the 80-year journey of building and developing the Vietnam People's Army, the process of building the armed forces and the all-people national defense of Quang Tri province.
At the same time, guests including historical witnesses, military officers and soldiers, representatives of the education sector, and young people shared many stories and battles that left many memories and experiences in combat and work. Through the sharing of the older generation, the younger generation has drawn many valuable lessons to continue striving and building their homeland and country.
Speaking at the seminar, Provincial Youth Union Secretary Tran Thi Thu said that in recent years, the Youth Union at all levels in the province, together with the Department of Education and Training and the Veterans Association, have implemented many activities to educate young people about traditions and national defense and security. They have deployed teams to protect the border and boundary markers, ensuring social security and order in residential areas. They have also promoted and encouraged young people to volunteer to enlist in the military, aiming to mobilize a large number of young people to participate in defending the Fatherland.
Continuing the glorious traditions of our nation and our army, today's young generation, together with the entire Party, army, and people, has been entrusted with the mission of writing more glorious chapters in history to build our country into an increasingly prosperous and beautiful nation.
