Mr. Vu Van Thanh, General Director of Hoa Sen Group Joint Stock Company (Hoa Sen Group), has just spoken out to deny inaccurate information about the subsidiary, Hoa Sen Steel One Member Co., Ltd. (Hoa Sen Steel), being accused of not paying land rent at the Tax Department of Region XVI (Binh Duong province).
According to the information disclosure that Mr. Thanh sent to the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, Ton Hoa Sen received two notices about tax arrears. However, after reviewing the documents, the company confirmed that it had fulfilled its tax payment obligations and no longer owed tax to the State budget as stated in the notices. Therefore, the company sent a document requesting the Binh Duong Provincial Tax Department to adjust the information.

According to Hoa Sen Group, on February 13, Hoa Sen Steel One Member Co., Ltd. received Notice No. 6608/TB-CTBDU-KDT from the Binh Duong Provincial Tax Department regarding the notice of unpaid tax amount to the State budget.
On February 26, Ton Hoa Sen sent a document requesting adjustment of late payment of corporate income tax and personal income tax.
However, on April 18, the company continued to receive Notice No. 7938 from the Tax Department of Region XVI regarding the tax debt of VND 762 million. Responding to this issue, Ton Hoa Sen affirmed that it had completed its tax obligations and had no remaining debts according to the tax authority's data system.
To ensure accurate information and avoid affecting the company's reputation, on May 5, Hoa Sen Group sent a dispatch requesting the Tax Department of Region XVI to check, compare and update the tax data of Hoa Sen Steel Company.
