Celebrating the value of cultural heritage

(CLO) On the evening of February 10th (the 13th day of the first lunar month), the 2025 Tran Temple Festival officially opened at the national special historical site of the mausoleum and temple of the Tran Dynasty kings in Tien Duc commune, Hung Ha district, Thai Binh province. The event was attended by many leaders of the Party, State, and local authorities, along with a large number of people and tourists from all over.

At the opening ceremony, Comrade Tran Quoc Vuong, former member of the Politburo and former Standing Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, beat the drum to officially open the Tran Temple Festival in Thai Binh in 2025.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Binh province, Nguyen Manh Hung, emphasized the significance of the festival in honoring the cultural heritage values ​​of the Tran Dynasty, demonstrating the principle of "drinking water, remembering the source," and expressing gratitude for the contributions of our ancestors. The festival is also an opportunity to encourage patriotic emulation and strive to achieve the province's socio-economic development goals in 2025.

Nguyen Manh Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Binh province, delivered the opening speech at the festival.

Notably, this year also marks the 800th anniversary of the founding of the Tran Dynasty. The Tran Temple Festival 2025 not only affirms the immense historical value of the Tran Dynasty but also demonstrates the determination and strong aspiration of Thai Binh province to rise in the new era.

The spectacular artistic program at the opening ceremony vividly recreated the 175-year prosperous reign of the Tran Dynasty, praising the merits of wise rulers and virtuous ancestors such as King Tran Nhan Tong and Queen Mother Tran Thi Dung.
