Celebrating Vietnamese tea culture

The festival takes place from December 10-12 with many major programs, including: the opening ceremony and panel discussion "Tea in the Flow of Culture and Creativity"; a tea exhibition showcasing a diverse range of products from traditional to modern, such as sparkling tea, tea cocktails, tea-based cosmetics, and accompanying dishes; a "Teatender – Modern Tea Brewing" competition promoting Truoi tea as a new specialty of contemporary Vietnamese tea; tea art performances and exchange activities among participating units; a tea-nourishing program themed "Drink Tea - A Journey of Reconnection"; a reenactment of the "Imperial Tea Ceremony"; the closing ceremony and the "Moon Dance Tea Flower" art program, along with many other accompanying activities.

The Hue International Tea Festival 2025 will be attended by participants from many countries around the world .

The first International Tea Festival, held in Hue, aims to celebrate Vietnamese tea culture, foster dialogue between domestic and international tea artisans and producers, and revitalize the tea industry through a blend of traditional values and contemporary creativity. From this event, Hue hopes to develop a unique tourism product – health and wellness tourism based on the Tea and Wellness model; blending the spirit of Zen, a slow-paced lifestyle, and Eastern cultural identity, contributing to increased attractiveness and expanding the influence of Hue tourism in the region and internationally.

Set in a space where heritage and the essence of tea culture converge, the Festival is the opening event for the closing series of the National Tourism Year, and an important first step towards establishing an annual cultural, artistic, and tourism event for Hue city. The organizers believe that the event will contribute to enriching the cultural identity of the ancient capital, creating new vitality and appeal for Hue as a destination in the eyes of domestic and international friends.

In 2025, Hue will host the National Tourism Year 2025 with the theme "Hue - Ancient Capital, New Opportunities". This is a significant cultural, economic, social, and tourism event of national and international scale, the largest annual tourism event of Vietnam's tourism industry.

Through a series of rich, engaging, and widely disseminated events, the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025 has contributed to introducing and promoting the tangible and intangible cultural values, unique scenic spots, and the identity of the people of provinces and cities nationwide, especially the ancient capital of Hue. The event has helped to enhance the position and image of Vietnam and its people in the eyes of international friends, affirming Vietnam as a safe, friendly, attractive, and culturally rich destination.
