According to RT, on March 23, Russian President Vladimir Putin gave a speech to the nation about the terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall concert hall in Moscow on the evening of March 3.
The Russian leader called the case terrorist attack This was "bloody and barbaric", and vowed to punish all those involved.
In a video speech, Mr. Putin announced a national mourning tomorrow (March 24), to commemorate the victims of the attack.
The Russian President also expressed gratitude to law enforcement agencies, officers who responded to the attack and all ordinary people who helped the victims.
“In the capital Moscow and in the Moscow region and all other regions of Russia, additional anti-terrorism and anti-sabotage measures have been applied. The important thing now is to prevent those behind this bloody attack from committing new crimes" - President Putin emphasize.
The Russian leader vowed to punish everyone behind this attack. He informed that so far 11 suspects - including 4 people directly involved in the shooting - have been arrested.
Putin added that some of the suspects were caught fleeing "toward Ukraine, where, according to preliminary data, a 'window' for crossing the border was prepared on the Ukrainian side."
However, the General Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine confirmed that Kiev was not involved in the terrorist attack in Moscow, and that suggestions of links with Ukraine “have nothing in common with reality”.
The above attack occurred at the Crocus City Hall concert hall in the Crocus shopping center in Krasnogorsk, Moscow region, Russia on the evening of March 22.
Russian media reported that about 2 to 5 people dressed in camouflage entered the concert hall, then opened automatic fire and threw "grenades" or "petrol bombs", causing a fire.
ISIS-K, an Afghan branch of the self-proclaimed Islamic State organization(IS), claimed responsibility for the attack. So far this attack has caused the least 133 people died and more than 100 people were injured./.
