The Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee requested that specialized agencies, administrative organizations under the city, and the People's Committees of communes, wards, and special zones review and assess the current state of the civil servant workforce; and at the same time, develop plans and select appropriate training programs to update and enhance knowledge, skills, and professional expertise in areas of state management and other supplementary skills for civil servants. This includes ensuring that civil servants meet the minimum training requirement of one week (40 hours) per year; sending civil servants to training courses to build a high-quality workforce for agencies and units; and prioritizing fields such as science and technology, innovation, digital skills, and digital technology .
