Phu Xuan Ward is one of the localities deeply marked by cultural and historical significance, home to many historical relics of the ancient capital, playing a central role in preserving and promoting the heritage values of Hue Imperial City . Therefore, preserving and promoting traditional cultural identity is always an important task, contributing to enriching spiritual life and affirming the cultural value of the ancient capital region.

In order to contribute to preserving and spreading these values, in recent times, women's associations at all levels in the ward have focused on strongly innovating the content and methods of their activities; exploring and building new models, organizing many creative activities to attract and gather members in conjunction with emulation movements and campaigns of the Women's Union and the locality; contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolutions of the Party Committees at all levels and the Resolutions of the Women's Congress at all levels for the 2021-2026 term, towards building Phu Xuan ward into a "civilized, friendly, safe, and culturally rich" ward.

The alleyway has been thoroughly cleaned, its walls repainted over an area of 120m², 20 lanterns hung, a lighting system installed, and the entrance gate renovated... In addition to funding from the Women's Union of the ward, many households living in the alleyway actively responded, contributing both labor and materials to complete the project.

Implementing the "Colorful Old Quarter" model not only beautifies the landscape but also contributes to preserving and promoting the traditional cultural values of the locality.

In the coming time, building on the success of the "Colors of the Old Quarter" model in alley 44, the Women's Union of the ward will continue to implement the model in other alleys along Chi Lang Street.
