The 100% Doraemon & Friends exhibition, which opened to the public at Tokyo Dream Park on March 27th, is the largest-scale edition of the Doraemon brand to date, bringing together all elements from comics and animation to display models, food , and souvenirs centered around the famous robotic cat.
The exhibition first launched in Hong Kong in July 2024 and quickly became a sensation, attracting over 5 million visitors in just one month. It then toured several major Asian cities such as Shanghai, Guangzhou, Bangkok, and Kaohsiung (Taiwan), before finally arriving in Tokyo.
Over 100 Doraemon models and interactive experiences.
The Japanese edition not only recreates content previously seen at other locations but also offers many exclusive experiences. Viewers can encounter Doraemon in various cultural settings, such as Shiba Inu dogs, sumo wrestlers, and other creative variations. Notably, two brand-new animated films will also be screened exclusively there.
The exhibition space is elaborately designed with comic book wall panels, a 3D projection system, and life-size models recreating classic scenes from all 45 volumes of the manga. In addition, a recreated workspace of the author duo Fujiko Fujio offers insight into the creative process behind the Doraemon character.

The exhibition displays over 100 Doraemon models with diverse expressions and costumes. Fans can explore a range of familiar gadgets that appear in the story, creating an engaging interactive experience as they "search" for the character's signature items.
A notable highlight is the outdoor area on the rooftop, where a 12-meter-tall inflatable Doraemon model is placed, surrounded by many smaller versions. This space quickly became a favorite photo spot for visitors.
The exhibition is open from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM daily (last entry at 5:30 PM) and runs until September 30th. Tickets cost 2,400 yen for adults. Visitors will receive a random gift including an acrylic badge and a Doraemon promotional card.

Beyond just displaying exhibits, the exhibition also integrates a food court featuring Doraemon-themed dishes such as sushi rice, egg sandwiches with soup, and vanilla ice cream. Alongside this is a souvenir shop with a variety of products ranging from stuffed animals and handbags to stationery and household goods. - Photo: Kisa Toyoshima
