The exhibition space features numerous imaginative art installations depicting life in the future. Some works place familiar objects of today – such as sneakers or furniture – in the context of hundreds of years from now, when researchers can view them as “relics” of a consumer society. Through this, the exhibition prompts viewers to reflect on the material legacy that people today leave for future generations.
In addition, the exhibition also showcases environmental sensor devices designed to resemble small organisms found in nature. These devices collect weather data and translate it into AI-generated "climate poems," demonstrating a new connection between technology and nature.
Through art and design, “The Craftocene” encourages people to think about a more sustainable future, where values such as repairing, reusing, and living in harmony with nature are emphasized.
The exhibition will take place from March 3rd to August 16th, 2026.
