In 2025, Kim Long Vietnam Production - Trading - Service Co., Ltd. in Thach Khoi ward received 250 million VND in support from the industrial promotion fund to invest in a laser cutting machine with a total cost of 520 million VND. This support helps the enterprise accelerate the application of technology in production.

Established in 2007 as a household business, Kim Long Vietnam now specializes in manufacturing equipment such as freezers, beer coolers, and beer kegs. The company has a factory area of ​​3,300 m², providing employment for approximately 50 workers with an average income of 10 million VND per person per month.

Each month, the company supplies approximately 1,000 products to the market, some of which are exported to France and Australia. Mr. Hoang Tuan Hung, Director of Kim Long Vietnam Production - Trading - Service Co., Ltd., stated: "Investing in laser cutting machines helps the company improve product accuracy, reduce processing time, save materials, and increase competitiveness in the market."

Not only businesses, but many production facilities are also benefiting from industrial promotion funds. For example, Mr. Tran Dinh Quoc's incense production facility in Tran Phu commune received 125 million VND in support to invest in incense stick making machines, incense cone making machines, and incense rod making machines. Currently, the facility provides employment for 8-10 local workers with incomes ranging from 4-8 million VND per person per month. According to Mr. Quoc, the support for machinery investment has significantly reduced manual labor, improved productivity, and enhanced product quality.

Through support programs, many establishments have expanded production, created more jobs, and increased income for workers. Industrial promotion activities have also contributed to promoting the shift in economic and labor structure towards industrialization and modernization; creating local jobs, supporting the construction of new rural areas, and developing traditional craft villages.

According to the industrial promotion plan for 2026, Hai Phong plans to support the application of advanced machinery and equipment, technology transfer, and production techniques for 17 establishments with a total budget of nearly 4 billion VND.

On April 10, 2026, the People's Committee of Hai Phong City approved the Industrial Promotion Program for the period 2026-2030.
