On the afternoon of October 23, 2014, student LQH (class 12A9) was assaulted by another student for using his mobile phone to record images of a female student in the stairwell area.

That evening, several sensitive images, including videos of female students in restrooms, circulated on several private Telegram groups.

On October 24, 2024, the school, in coordination with the Binh Chanh District Police and the Tan Tuc Town Police, worked with the students and their parents. During the meeting, student QH confirmed that he had used his phone to film female students without their consent, but denied any connection to the images circulating on the Telegram social media platform.

"Currently, the school is continuing to cooperate with the authorities and work with parents and students involved in the incident," the report stated.

As reported by Nguoi Lao Dong newspaper , since October 24th, information has been circulating on several Facebook fan pages and social media platforms about "Rescuing female students at Tan Tuc High School - Binh Chanh District".

The information immediately caused a sensation, with a series of subsequent shares and messages spreading widely.

A Facebook page named "Oh my..." wrote: "Over 1,300 videos and 15,000 images of female students and female teachers have been sold and distributed to male students from other schools. With the help of a 'girlfriend' who helped QH install the cameras. This incident occurred at Tan Tuc High School - Binh Chanh. We hope for the attention of the online community and parents with children attending the school to this issue. Thank you!!!"

Below the status update, numerous comments from Facebook users expressed their bewilderment. Some accounts continued to share more related information, such as the number of secretly filmed clips reaching thousands, and the fact that these clips and images of female students were being sold, even exchanged between this group of secret filmmakers and other groups from high schools in the city.
