From the afternoon of July 2nd, gasoline and diesel prices decreased.

From 3 PM on July 2nd, fuel prices decreased across the board, with E5RON92 fuel falling by 1,055 VND/liter and diesel fuel by 690 VND/liter.

The amount of expenditure from the Price Stabilization Fund for the above items is 0 VND.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade stated that the global oil market during this price adjustment period was influenced by several key factors: the emergence of retaliatory attacks between the US and Iran ; positive signals from negotiations between the US and Iran; the possibility of OPEC+ increasing oil production from August; and the ongoing military conflict between Russia and Ukraine, focusing heavily on each other's oil and gas facilities. These factors have caused global oil prices to fluctuate, rising and falling depending on the specific product.

The average world refined petroleum product prices between the price adjustment period of June 25th and today's adjustment period are: 98.166 USD/barrel for RON92 gasoline used to blend E5RON92 gasoline; 100.092 USD/barrel for RON95 gasoline used to blend E10RON95-III gasoline; 111.800 USD/barrel for 0.05S diesel oil; and 432.810 USD/ton for 180CST 3.5S fuel oil.
