Born and raised in Son La province, Quang Van Tham, a young man of the Thai ethnic group, harbored an early desire to contribute to his country. His years of study at the Political Officer Training School forged in him the courage, willpower, and sense of responsibility of a military officer. In 2019, during a cultural exchange with his comrades at the Central College of Pedagogy, Quang Van Tham coincidentally met the charming student Nguyen Thi Minh Ngoc. Amidst the lively atmosphere of the exchange, their eyes met, opening a beautiful chapter in their relationship. The proactive and sincere nature of the officer cadet, combined with the gentle and innocent demeanor of the pedagogy student, drew them closer. From then on, calls and messages of encouragement in their studies became a bridge connecting them and nurturing their feelings.

After graduating in 2020, Tham was assigned to the 198th Brigade, thousands of kilometers away from Ngoc. The geographical distance and the unique nature of a special forces soldier's duties made their meetings rare. But it was precisely in these challenges that their love grew stronger. Each of Ngoc's flights across thousands of kilometers to the Central Highlands to visit her lover gave Tham renewed motivation to focus on his work and complete his duties well. Every time he came home on leave, Tham would visit Ngoc. They would sit together, sharing countless stories about their time apart, their unfinished plans, and their simple dreams of a peaceful home.

In 2022, after graduating, Ngoc was assigned to teach at Dong Xuan Kindergarten in Xuan Hoa Ward, Phu Tho Province. That same year, Tham requested a transfer to Brigade 113, a unit stationed near Ngoc's family and workplace. With the right timing and circumstances, in 2023, they decided to tie the knot, much to the joy and blessings of both families, comrades, and friends. A year after their wedding, their small family welcomed a new member: a handsome baby boy, Quang Duy Tung. The busy schedules of special forces soldiers, their training and combat readiness duties, and the kindergarten teacher's teaching schedule meant that Tham and her husband often relied on Ngoc's grandparents to care for their child. Despite this, their small home was always filled with laughter and simple, lasting happiness.

The love story of Lieutenant Quàng Văn Thẩm and teacher Nguyễn Thị Minh Ngọc is not only a journey of overcoming geographical distance but also a testament to the beauty of love in the military environment: loyalty, steadfastness, unwavering faith, and responsibility.
