Originating from the desire to concretize the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style, the "Reporting Achievements to Uncle Ho" model was developed by the Political Department and advised the Party Committee and the Provincial Military Command of Hau Giang to lead, direct, and organize its implementation within the provincial armed forces. Through this model, the aim is to educate on revolutionary traditions, cultivate affection, faith, and responsibility in each officer and soldier towards the Party and the beloved Uncle Ho. Colonel Bang Luu Phuong, Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command of Hau Giang, stated: "Reporting achievements to Uncle Ho is not only an opportunity to commend the results of emulation but also a chance for each officer and soldier to reflect on themselves according to Uncle Ho's example. From there, we can maximize our sense of responsibility and determination in fulfilling our political tasks."

On occasions such as the mid-term and final reviews of emulation movements, commemorations of major holidays, or the monthly flag-raising ceremony, officers and soldiers of agencies and units solemnly stand before the portrait of President Ho Chi Minh, reporting on their outstanding achievements. With a solemn and respectful attitude, each report reflects pride and honor in having contributed their small part to the cause of national defense. Especially in this solemn atmosphere, the resounding "oath of honor" and the promise to "follow President Ho Chi Minh's teachings" create immense spiritual strength, motivating each officer and soldier of the Provincial Military Command to strive tirelessly.
Recently, at a ceremony to report achievements to President Ho Chi Minh , many outstanding collectives and individuals of the Hau Giang Provincial Military Command were recognized for their excellent accomplishments. Each achievement reported to President Ho Chi Minh was "soaked in the sweat" and dedication of the officers and soldiers of the provincial armed forces. Many young soldiers, after the ceremony, registered to compete in achieving meritorious deeds, volunteered for difficult tasks, and demonstrated a strong sense of responsibility in their studies and training. Private Huynh Cong Pha, a soldier in the Guard Platoon, Staff Department of the Hau Giang Provincial Military Command, emotionally said: “The commander's words during the ceremony made me even more aware of my responsibility. I always consciously train and strive every day to successfully complete the assigned tasks.” Corporal Nguyen Phu Hoai, a soldier in the Mechanized Reconnaissance Company, shared: “Every time I stand before Uncle Ho's portrait to report on our achievements, my heart overflows with emotion. After each ceremony, we learn valuable lessons. In particular, I always remember Uncle Ho's words: 'We must not be afraid of hardship, not be afraid of difficulties; wherever youth are needed, youth will be there; whatever is difficult, youth will be there,' to remind myself to strive even harder.”
Not limited to the provincial level, the "Reporting Achievements to Uncle Ho" model has spread strongly to the Military Commands of districts, cities, and towns in Hau Giang province. Depending on the material conditions, each unit has its own suitable and creative way of implementing it. In particular, many units have combined reporting achievements with activities to educate on revolutionary traditions, creating a vibrant atmosphere of emulation throughout the entire force. Some units have combined reporting achievements with admitting new Party members and commending exemplary individuals who follow Uncle Ho's teachings, creating a positive effect within the unit and the locality. Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Huy Toan, Head of Political Affairs, Military Command of Chau Thanh district, said: "We consider the 'Reporting Achievements to Uncle Ho' model as a practical activity aimed at arousing the pride of soldiers, raising their sense of responsibility to the agency, unit, and the people. Each time we report achievements, we not only look back at the results we have achieved but also demonstrate our determination to strive even harder in the future."
Lieutenant Colonel Le Thi Hoang Oanh, Head of the Propaganda Department, Political Department of the Hau Giang Provincial Military Command, shared: “When reading the report on achievements, I felt as if I was directly reporting to Uncle Ho about the things the officers and soldiers of the provincial armed forces have done. That is a very sacred feeling and also a reminder for myself to always strive tirelessly.” Lieutenant Le Thi Huynh Nhu, a staff member of the Military Medical Department, confided: “Every time I receive a report on achievements, I feel I must try even harder in my professional work, especially in taking care of the health of my comrades.”
Maintaining and promoting the "Reporting Achievements to Uncle Ho" model at the Hau Giang Provincial Military Command is not only a practical way to learn from Uncle Ho, but also a connecting thread between patriotism, revolutionary ideals, and the will of soldiers. Colonel Bang Luu Phuong affirmed: "The 'Reporting Achievements to Uncle Ho' model has become a beautiful cultural feature in the political activities of the provincial armed forces. We will continue to innovate and improve the quality of this model, so that learning from and following Uncle Ho becomes increasingly profound, practical, and effective."
