Quang Ninh province has a land border nearly 119km long, adjacent to China. Due to the complex terrain, protecting security, order, and safety along the border is an extremely difficult task for border guards. Nevertheless, with the spirit of "The outpost is our home, the border is our homeland, and the people of all ethnic groups are our brothers and sisters," the border guards of Quang Ninh always uphold the qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers," staying close to the people, staying rooted in the area, and working alongside local authorities and the people. The meaningful work of these soldiers has strengthened the close solidarity between the military and the people in the border region of the Fatherland, contributing to building a peaceful, friendly, stable, cooperative, and developing Vietnam-China border.
