It was a cold day just before Tet in Central Vietnam, my family was gathered around the dinner table watching the Mai Vang Awards ceremony on our small television. The phrase "Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper" caught my attention, sparking my curiosity, even though I was just a primary school boy and didn't understand what journalism was.
Later, when I had access to the internet, I went online to read the Nguoi Lao Dong newspaper. As a journalism student, I often used articles from Nguoi Lao Dong as evidence for my assignments. At that time, Nguoi Lao Dong newspaper became like a textbook for me to study, refer to, and research. The more I read, the more I was captivated by the newspaper's articles, with their approachable, concise yet insightful style. And then, a desire gradually blossomed within me to one day become a reporter working for Nguoi Lao Dong newspaper.
In 2020, I applied for an internship at the Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper. After completing my nearly three-month internship, I continued working as a contributor. At the beginning of 2022, I signed a full-time employment contract, ushering in meaningful years in my life.

I am always secretly grateful for this. If I had to choose keywords to describe my life, "Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper" would be one of them.

I sensed the strong will and the spirit of striving to assert the newspaper's position. This was evident in the continuous training sessions and professional development activities; the frequent events and activities organized beyond the newspaper's pages… Working in such a powerful "machine," I secretly told myself I couldn't slow down.
I am happy and proud that every time I introduce myself as a reporter for Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, I am warmly received and appreciated by everyone. Participating in the newspaper's community-oriented programs, I feel fortunate to be doing my job in a meaningful and responsible way. The more I work, the more I understand the spirit of "responsibility and humanity" in the criteria of "Fast - Excellent - Accurate - Responsible - Humane" that the newspaper has persistently pursued for many years.
Today, standing at a crossroads in my life and career, I feel fortunate that my years at Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper have provided me with a wealth of valuable assets. These include a serious work ethic, the resilience to overcome difficulties, the confidence to move forward, and above all, the camaraderie among colleagues – an invaluable asset nurtured and preserved under the roof of Nguoi Lao Dong. These assets will accompany me on every step of my journey ahead.
