On April 17th, the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee organized a conference to inform the public about the activities of the Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2026 with the theme "Ninh Binh - A Journey of Heritage Through the Ages".

Mr. Bui Van Manh, Director of Ninh Binh Department of Tourism, provided information at the conference.

The week-long activities are expected to take place over the last 10 days of May.

The highlight is the opening art program "A Thousand-Year-Old Painting," recreating a comprehensive picture connecting the past and present, celebrating the beauty of Tam Coc.

In addition, there is the Tam Coc Golden Festival, featuring experiences in the rice fields, processions of agricultural offerings, and various forms of traditional folk art.

The Trang An Creative Music Festival (Forestival) will also be held with a series of activities in film, fine arts, and multimedia, themed "Warrior of the Dawn," featuring many famous singers.

In addition, the Tourism Week also features the Vietnam Yosakoi Festival 2026 - a cultural exchange activity between Vietnamese and Japanese art troupes, with the theme "Cultural Interaction - Spreading Energy - Strengthening Friendship".

The Ninh Binh Sea Tourism Festival will also be held for the first time.

In addition, there are activities such as photography tours, art exhibitions, and performances of traditional folk art forms such as water puppetry, Cheo singing, and Xam singing.

Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2026 begins with the opening of the first-ever Sea Festival.

Traditional cultural and artistic activities are organized at the Dinh Cac boat dock (Tam Coc tourist area).

Ninh Binh province aims to welcome over 600,000 visitors over 10 days during Tourism Week, representing a 25% increase in tourism compared to the same period last year, with an occupancy rate of over 85%.

Mr. Nguyen Van Trong, Deputy Director of Ninh Binh Department of Tourism, shared: “Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2026 is not only an annual tourism event, but also an invitation to domestic and international friends to visit this land of heritage, where magnificent nature, a thousand years of history, and friendly, hospitable people converge.”

Many exciting programs, activities, and experiences take place during Tourism Week.

Mr. Bui Van Manh, Director of the Ninh Binh Department of Tourism, pledged: “We will organize activities within the framework of the Tourism Week in a spirit of safety, civility, economy, and efficiency; linking heritage preservation with sustainable development; and at the same time spreading cultural values, improving community life, and creating momentum to promote tourism development in the future.”

Ninh Binh province hopes to organize a diverse, colorful tourism week filled with stories connected to the local area and its people.

The whale-shaped mountain nestled amidst a turquoise lake in Ninh Binh attracts tourists . This natural limestone mountain, resembling a whale and situated in a turquoise lake, is known as one of the "Four Great Famous Mountains" of Ninh Binh and is becoming a popular tourist destination.
