Through practical community service activities, from participating in building new rural areas to giving gifts and providing healthcare to the people, the youth of the Provincial Police contribute to spreading positive values ​​and building a strong foundation of public support in the border region.

In anticipation of major national holidays and significant events of the country and the People's Public Security Force in 2026, the Youth Committee of the Provincial Public Security Department, in coordination with the People's Committee of Nhon Hoi commune, organized the launching ceremony of Youth Month, linked with the program "March at the Border - My Fatherland's Border". According to Lieutenant Colonel Truong Van Quoc - Head of the Youth Committee of the Provincial Public Security Department, the youth of the Provincial Public Security Department will focus on implementing 4 key tasks and solutions along with 5 major provincial-level activities such as the launching ceremony of Youth Month; exchange and dialogue between the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the Provincial Public Security Department with union members and association members; the ceremony commemorating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union ; commending young Party members and advanced union members following Uncle Ho's teachings; the program "An Giang Public Security Youth for the Homeland's Sea and Islands" in the Tho Chau special zone; Political activities in the Con Dao Special Zone… At the same time, 8 grassroots-level activities were also implemented simultaneously, such as the 2026 Youth Union Day, young people joining hands to build new rural areas...

During the activities in Nhon Hoi commune, many meaningful tasks were implemented simultaneously: providing medical examinations, dispensing medicine, and giving gifts to over 300 people in difficult circumstances; awarding 10 scholarships (each worth 1 million VND) to poor students under the "Youth of the People's Police supporting disadvantaged children and teenagers to go to school in the period 2023 - 2027" project; constructing the "Lighting up the border" project with a solar-powered lighting system on 4 roads; disseminating legal information on traffic safety and drug prevention; and giving gifts to 50 households and local security and order forces, each gift worth 500,000 VND.

Having received free medical check-ups, medication, and gifts, Ms. Nguyen Thi Lieu (61 years old), residing in Phu Thuan hamlet, Nhon Hoi commune, was moved: “We border residents are very happy to receive the attention of the government and the police force. We hope there will be more programs like this so that people can have better access to healthcare.” Students receiving scholarships also expressed their joy. Ngoc Vy, a student at Phu Hoi B Primary School, shared: “I am very happy to receive gifts. I will try my best to study hard so as not to disappoint the kindness of the adults.”

According to Cao Xuan Dieu, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Nhon Hoi Commune, the locality has a border line stretching over 14km. After the merger, the area is large, the population is dense, and the lives of the people are still difficult due to their reliance on agriculture and handicrafts. The commune was chosen as a pilot location for organizing meaningful Youth Month activities, contributing to supporting disadvantaged people and students in the commune. The locality hopes to continue receiving more attention and support from all levels and sectors in the future.

According to Colonel Le Phu Thanh, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, all levels of the Youth Union need to identify Youth Month as a broad political activity; strengthen propaganda and education; and promote the pioneering role of youth in fulfilling the task of protecting national security and maintaining social order and safety. Along with that, they should promote social welfare activities and disseminate and educate young people and the people on the law. “Every officer, member, and youth needs to deeply understand the significance of Youth Month – a month of enthusiasm and aspiration for contribution; constantly study and follow the thoughts, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh; effectively implement the movement ‘Youth of the People's Police studying and implementing the Six Teachings of Uncle Ho,’ contributing to enhancing the glorious tradition of the People's Police force,” said Colonel Le Phu Thanh.
