After the flood, Nha Trang beach was flooded with garbage. On November 22 and 23, hundreds of union members and youth from localities, schools and students in the province joined together to clean up the garbage. With the cooperation of young people, Nha Trang beach has significantly reduced the amount of garbage. Participating in the activity, Ms. Tran Thuy Hien - Secretary of the Youth Union of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee said that the amount of garbage washed up on the beach by the waves was huge. Therefore, the union members of the unit joined forces with other youth organizations to support environmental sanitation workers in collecting garbage. At a time when the whole province joined hands to support people affected by floods, the unit's youth joined hands to carry out appropriate tasks. On November 23, the unit's Youth Union also deployed support in transporting and distributing relief gifts to people.

Commune and ward delegations also immediately deployed tasks to support the locality and people. On November 23, Dong Hai Ward Youth Union, together with the police, army, and militia forces, organized to clear mud and soil, help people repair houses, relocate property, clean the environment, repair schools, classrooms, headquarters, and damaged roads; and transport necessities to isolated households... Phuoc Dinh Commune Youth Union, together with the police and border guards, simultaneously mobilized to collect garbage, clear bushes, clear sewers, and support people to overcome the consequences of floods in villages, roads, and public areas... In order to promptly care for people's health, Nha Trang Ward Youth Union coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City Young Doctors Club to organize medical examinations, health consultations, and provide free medicine to households in heavily flooded areas.

In localities severely damaged by floods, the youth's strength and pioneering spirit have also been promoted. Mr. Pham Van Quy - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward, Secretary of the North Cam Ranh Ward Youth Union said that from November 22 to now, the unit has organized the Youth Union to support the people of Hoa Tien Residential Group in cleaning their houses, collecting garbage, clearing stagnant water, and cleaning the environment. The activities will continue to be deployed by the ward's Youth Union until the situation stabilizes, in order to help people stabilize their lives soon after the natural disaster.

During the recent flood, as of November 23, the whole province had more than 8,000 Youth Union members joining hands to support localities and people to overcome the consequences. Ms. Huynh Thi Nhu Y - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, President of the Provincial Vietnam Student Association said that with the spirit of mobilizing maximum forces, Youth Union members and students urgently supported people to clean up their houses to stabilize their lives; clean up the environment of schools, offices, public places... Along with that, many volunteer teams brought necessities and medicines to deliver directly to households in areas that were heavily damaged. Volunteer activities will continue to be organized in the coming days in many different forms to help people in the whole province overcome this difficult period.
