Young people help people overcome difficulties.

Following the floods, thousands of young people across the province joined local authorities in assisting residents in overcoming the damage, creating a widespread volunteer spirit and spreading a sense of sharing.

Following the floods, Nha Trang beach was littered with trash. On November 22nd and 23rd, hundreds of youth union members from various localities, schools, and universities across the province joined forces to clean up the trash. Thanks to their collective efforts, the amount of trash on Nha Trang beach has significantly decreased. Participating in the activity, Ms. Tran Thuy Hien, Secretary of the Youth Union of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, stated that a large amount of trash was washed ashore by the waves. Therefore, the unit's youth union members, along with other youth organizations, assisted sanitation workers in collecting the waste. At a time when the entire province was working together to support flood victims, the unit's youth contributed to appropriate relief efforts. On November 23rd, the unit's youth union members also assisted in transporting and distributing relief supplies to the affected people.

Commune and ward youth unions also immediately implemented tasks to support the locality and people. On November 23, the Dong Hai Ward Youth Union, along with the police, army, and militia forces, organized mud cleanup, helped people repair houses, relocate property, clean up the environment, repair schools, offices, and damaged roads; and simultaneously transported essential supplies to isolated households... The Phuoc Dinh Commune Youth Union, along with the police and border guards, simultaneously launched a campaign to collect waste, clear bushes, unclog drains, and support people in overcoming the consequences of the floods in villages, roads, and public areas... To promptly care for the health of the people, the Nha Trang Ward Youth Union coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City Young Doctors Club to organize medical examinations, health consultations, and free medicine distribution for households in heavily flooded areas.

In areas severely affected by floods, the energy and pioneering spirit of youth have also been demonstrated. From November 20th to the present, the Youth Union of Bac Nha Trang ward has organized activities to support people in responding to and overcoming the consequences of the floods, such as: assisting in transporting essential supplies to areas cut off by floods; coordinating with forces to clean up the environment, schools, and classrooms...

Mr. Pham Van Quy, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Cam Ranh ward and Secretary of the ward's Youth Union, said that from November 22nd to the present, the unit has organized Youth Union members to assist residents of Hoa Tien residential area in cleaning their houses, collecting waste, clearing stagnant water, and sanitizing the environment. These activities will continue until the situation stabilizes, aiming to help people quickly return to normal life after the natural disaster.

During the recent floods, as of November 23rd, over 8,000 youth union members and students across the province have mobilized to support local authorities and people in overcoming the consequences. Ms. Huynh Thi Nhu Y, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union and President of the Vietnam Student Association of the province, stated that with the spirit of mobilizing maximum resources, youth union members and students have promptly assisted people in cleaning their homes and stabilizing their lives; cleaning the environment in schools, offices, and public places... In addition, many volunteer teams have brought essential supplies and medicine to deliver directly to households in severely affected areas. Volunteer activities will continue to be organized in the coming days in various forms to help people throughout the province overcome this difficult period.
