On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification, the youth union at all levels of Ha Tinh organized a candle lighting ceremony to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs who died for the independence and freedom of the country.
On this occasion, 100% of the Youth Union chapters in the province lit candles at martyrs' cemeteries and memorial houses in communes, wards and towns to express deep gratitude for the sacrifices of heroic martyrs for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland and the happiness of the people.
In a solemn and sacred atmosphere, the youth union members pledged to uphold the revolutionary tradition, be ready to volunteer for community life. This activity aims toeducate patriotism, national pride and raise awareness and responsibility of young people in the cause of protecting and building the homeland.
On this occasion, along with the candle lighting ceremony, all levels of the Youth Union in the province also organized the planting of red flags at the graves of heroic martyrs.
