
The Hung Kings Commemoration Ceremony in 2024 was solemnly held at the Holy Mother Temple (84/2 Pham Ngu Lao Street, Thanh Cong Ward, Buon Ma Thuot City, Dak Lak Province) with the following contents: Lion dance to welcome; gong dance; performing the ritual of worshiping the Holy Mother; offering incense, flowers, and offerings to the Holy Mother; commemorating the Hung Kings; a eulogy recalling the glorious history of the Hung Kings during the nation-building period, the history of the struggle for national independence and unification; disseminating regulations and rules for the practice of the Tam Phu Mother Goddess worship of the Vietnamese people; honoring the shamans and mediums participating in the Forum…


Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Phan Thi Kim Chi, Director of the Center for the Development of Cultural Beliefs and Traditional Singing in the Central Highlands, emphasized: " No matter where one goes, remember the Ancestor Commemoration Day on the 10th of March " – this age-old folk verse serves as a reminder to every Vietnamese person, whether at home or abroad, whether in the highlands or lowlands, to always remember and repay the gratitude to their ancestors and origins, and to recall the glorious history of nation-building and national defense of our people."
