(Baothanhhoa.vn) - On the morning of June 4th, the oath-taking ceremony for new recruits in 2025 took place at Regiment 762 (Provincial Military Command) and the Training and Mobile Battalion (Provincial Border Guard Command).

Thoroughly understanding the orders and combat training plans from higher levels, in 2025, the Party Committee and command of Regiment 762 focused on decisive leadership and direction with many synchronized and effective policies and solutions from the preparation stage to the organization and operation of training, ensuring scientific , correct, and complete content, program, and time; the training process always adhered to the motto and principles, flexibly applying various combinations.

At the end of the training, 100% of the content and subjects met the requirements, with over 80% achieving good or excellent results; in particular, AK rifle shooting (exercise 1) achieved a good result; grenade throwing and explosive handling (exercise 1) achieved an excellent result; and the unit ensured absolute safety. Emphasis was consistently placed on political and ideological education, with effective ongoing education on the traditions of the homeland, the Army, and the unit... This helped new recruits enhance their political awareness, understand the functions and tasks of the Army and the unit, and the requirements of national construction and defense in the new situation.

Speaking at the swearing-in ceremony, Colonel Tran Huu Tung, Deputy Commander of the Provincial Military Command, acknowledged and praised the achievements of Regiment 762 in general, and the efforts and dedication of the new recruits in particular during their training. He also requested the Party Committee and the Regiment's command to effectively organize the assignment of new recruits to their units, quickly stabilize their positions, and continue training according to plan. He urged the recruits, after being assigned to their new units, to build upon their achievements, continue to strive in their studies and training, and be ready to undertake and successfully complete all assigned tasks, contributing to the glorious traditions of their homeland and unit, and upholding the qualities and image of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" in the new era.

Over the course of three months, 140 recruits who enlisted in 2025 and trained at the Training and Mobile Battalion completed all training content according to the program prescribed by the General Staff and the Ministry of National Defense. 100% of the new recruits have matured and become more confident in all aspects, gaining a fuller understanding of the task of defending the Fatherland; the mission and ideal combat goals of the Army; clearly defining their roles and responsibilities; possessing strong motivation for learning and training; demonstrating firm political and ideological resolve; feeling secure in their work; ready to accept and complete all assigned tasks; and conscientiously adhering to military discipline. They know how to use, manage, and maintain the weapons in their inventory; are proficient in infantry combat techniques; and perform drill and ceremony well, maintaining physical fitness and improving their health.

At the end of the new recruit training program, 100% of the content achieved good or excellent results; in particular, the three explosive tests (shooting the AK submachine gun (exercise 1) achieved good results, handling explosives (exercise 1) and throwing grenades (exercise 1) achieved excellent results), ensuring absolute safety.

Speaking at the swearing-in ceremony, Colonel Do Ngoc Vinh, Provincial Party Committee member and Commander of the Provincial Border Guard, praised and acknowledged the efforts and achievements of the officers and soldiers of the Training and Mobile Battalion in the past period. He also requested the unit to continue to thoroughly understand and strictly implement the Border Guard Commander's combat training order and the Provincial Border Guard Command's plan for organizing new recruit training in 2025.

Building on the achievements and overcoming existing difficulties and shortcomings, the leadership will focus on directing and managing the unit to effectively implement the 1.5-month specialized professional training program of the Border Guard. The goal is to achieve the highest possible training results, equipping new recruits with fundamental knowledge to apply to practical tasks at their units after completing the training, contributing to the firm protection of national border security and sovereignty in the new situation.
