U18 Vietnam lost heavily to U18 Morocco

Coach Hoang Anh Tuan and his team began their journey at the 2023 Seoul U18 Cup with a match against Morocco U18. Against a very strong opponent, Vietnam U18 lost with a heavy score and did not score any goals.

In recent years, Moroccan football has developed strongly and left a strong mark on the World Cup arena. The goal made the African representative's spirit much more excited. They took advantage of their superior speed and technique to score 3 more goals in the first 45 minutes. U18 Vietnam was behind 0-4 after the first half of the match.

In the second half, coach Hoang Anh Tuan made many adjustments in both personnel and tactics. U18 Vietnam played much better. The red team's defense was reinforced and revealed fewer gaps.

However, the U18 Vietnam attack still lacked a bit of sharpness to be able to score against their opponents. After that, U18 Morocco scored another goal to set the score at 5-0.

This defeat will bring many lessons for the young players. In the next match, U18 Vietnam will meet a team from Europe, U18 Ukraine.
